Void Linux Cinnamon | Installation and First Impressions
Void Linux is an independent Linux Distribution which is developed by volunteers. It’s a rolling release and uses xbps for package management. They offer a base image on their website as well prebuilt images with desktop environments already installed. I decided to take a look at their Cinnamon image. This is the first time I’ve actually used Void Linux as opposed to having to a distribution that uses it as a base. In the video below I run through the installation process and take a look around the desktop and xbps.
