Following on from the last video where I checked out Ubuntuvn using the Cinnamon desktop environment I decided to check out their Deepin respin too. This respin is using version 20 of the Deepin desktop and features quite a minimal set of packages. It appears to have most of the Deepin suite of applications but lacks a proper software store out of the box.
The ram usage seemed a bit high at boot which I found surprising considering the fact it wasn’t the most bloated distribution featuring Deepin that I’ve used. Other than that though I’m rather intrigued about Ubuntuvn and will be making sure I keep a close eye on this distribution.
